Everything we needed, cheaper then anywhere else!

Ordered this bundle on Monday, received it on Friday of the same week… it’s a GREAT package! It came with our gorgeous red handy-dandy FS200 (which included a battery, wall adapter, connectors), a camera case, a table-top tripod, a fuller-size tripod, LCD screen protectors and lens cleaning kit, an SDHC card (8GB), a memory card wallet (3 clots, blank labels for each, and a mini-carbiner to hook it onto stuff), an additional battery with charger (INCLUDING a car charger adapter AND a European plug adapter), wrist strap… and I think that’s it. But this bundle lets you start shooting as soon as you get it.

The FS200 is, upon receiving it, exactly what we were looking for in a camcorder that could also take digital stills. The 3 modes: Dual Shot (where you can shoot video and then just hit a button for a quick still), Still Photo, and Video – all are awesome modes as you can either go fully auto-everything or fine-tune the specifications for either video or camera. It’s a light little camera, the lens automatically closes when you shut off, and I love it already! It’ll be awesome for what we wanted it for – documenting family events and our kids growing up. A great investment, and far cheaper then anywhere we could have gotten it in person!

I haven’t had the camera that long, but it seems easy enough to use and the picture seems to be good. I did have an issue with the battery after I used it one time. The next time I used it the battery was dead. Not sure if I didn’t turn the camera off correctly or if I just used it up. Thank goodness the package deal I ordered came with an extra battery. My camera says, “doesn’t recognize this battery, do I want to continue?” I just click yes (using toggle switch), and it worked fine. I received the camera quickly and with everything promised and it was in excellent condition (new packaging). I did go to Stein Mart and found a hard glasses case and I put my camera in the case, in my purse, so it’s protected. This way I can carry it anywhere in my purse and have it easily ready for use. So far, so good. Need to read the directions for better use of the camera, but for not doing that, it’s easy to figure out so far.
