These affordable models are sure to be a hit with users who want high image quality regardless of their budget. The 12-megapixel FE cameras boast up to 5x super wide optical zoom for great panorama shots or close-ups of distant subjects. The three top models look especially striking thanks to a double layered crystal shell finish. In addition, they all offer a practical AF tracking feature which ensures that even moving subjects are in focus at all times. Also on board are advanced Face Detection technology and the i-Auto mode, which automatically identifies five commonly-encountered types of scenes and adjusts settings accordingly. Two of the FEs even offer innovative Magic Filters for a new level of creativity. more info

Not a good camera
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I had a sony cybershot that had mechanical issues after owning it for 2 years, so I was looking for a cheap camera with features relative to my old camera. Since my other one started having issues after the warranty, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a new camera and to fix the old one, it would’ve cost me $100. This Olympus Camera is very hard to use. I miss the wheel on the cybershot that gives you the features right away. With the Olympus, you have to use the menu feature and search for the settings you want. It is not a point and click camera. If you point and click indoors, your pictures will not come out well if there’s not enough light. Don’t listen to the hype about the ‘i-auto’ feature. It does nothing good for you. It doesn’t instantly focus or fix the lighting settings. My pictures were mostly grainy and blurry. I’d recommend you buy something else. Not worth the price. Not easy to use.
Great little camera

I got this camera for my wife for Christmas – she kept saying that she wanted a slim little camera that she could easily stuff in her pocket that takes good photos. It is very compact, and she has been thrilled with the quality of the pictures thus far. She takes it with her wherever she goes now.
For the price I paid, I think it’s a very good, very portable point-and-shoot camera.
