The Digital Concepts 55mm Macro Filter Kit includes four close-up diopters at +1, +2, +4 and +10 magnification, and a durable carrying case. These filters simply screw onto the front of any 55mm lens, and will maintain resolution and picture clarity while magnifying image size. Plus, these filters are double-threaded, which means you can combine them to achieve increased magnification, or you can attach additional optics such as polarizers or skylight filters. These macro filters are ideal for photographing small items and focusing in on details of coins, flowers, jewelry and insects, as well as industrial photos of miniaturized components, medical and dental laboratory work and other scientific photography. more info

Macro lens for my Sony a300
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Iappreciate it when the seller fulfills his obligation to send an order on time and the product is as the catalog or ad describes it. I am well pleased with the four macro lenses that I ordered through Amazon.

Bought ‘em, Love ‘em!

I’m planning on getting a 100mm Macro lens for my Sony DSLR, except, it’s quite pricey. I then found out about these Macro filters and decided to buy them for in the meantime till I can buy the Macro lens. Not only that, once I do get the 100mm macro lens, these will also screw on to it, making it much better.

These do the job pretty well!

Buy buy!!!

amazing!

I searched for these after I saw them reccommended in a digital photogrpahy book. The author reccommended them as a fantastic money saver. He was right! I’ve taken some amazing macro shots with them since! Even one where you can see my reflection on the tip of a fine point, ball point pen.

Hundreds of dollars cheaper than buying lenses and still highly effective!!

I ordered the wrong size!

I can’t say if this product is good or not, because I ordered a 55mm and my lens are 52mm and 58mm. However, the shipping was good. My advice: check the diameter before ordering.

these are in fact 55mm like they said they were, no adapters needed here. they do work. maybe not as well as i had hoped, but i think thats simply because i don’t know the difference between what 10x and 1x should look like. they are a good weight, and come in a nice pouch. i’m happy with them.
