When I used the uv filter with zoom, a circle of black appeared on the borders of the picture. I have not yet tried it for close up or macro shots. Not good.
Filter pouch too big

Everything is good except the included filter pouch is too big (8 inches long). If could easily be 5 inches long for the 46 mm filters. It will then be more compatible with the smaller camera bag (Tamrac 5230) and the smaller camera (Lumix DMC-FZ28) that I have.
Unbeatable value and perfect for the FZ28

The filters fit my FZ28K perfectly. The UV filter is perfect for protecting the lense, which seems more important since the camera doesn’t have interchangeable lenses.
The CP filter works well to produce brilliant daylight photos. However, I do get a little bit of vignetting when I use the CP. I’m not stacking filters, so I’m not sure why it’s happening. It only occurs right at the corners of the photos. I haven’t had any problems just croping the dark corners out.
Even with the vignetting, this set is a great budget addition for the FZ28 hobbiest.

I bought the first set for a colleague while in the US and after looking at the pictures she took this set is highly recommended. So when a colleague asked what filter set to buy for her FZ18 i recommended this item. So this second purchase is for that colleague. Highly recommended.

You get what you pay for

I bought this kit mainly for the circular polarizer which was ultimately disappointing. Being reluctant to pay the much higher price for a more reputable brand led me to take this option. The polarizing filter (used on a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ18) produced excessively noisy photos while the wide-angle was in use. Additionally, when using the wide-angle with this filter, the top left hand corner of all my pics are blacked out so I lose an entire top portion by having to crop it out. I would strongly advise anyone to put in the extra needed to get a top quality filter from the start.
On the good side, packaging was great and delivery was quick.

I purchased the 46mm linear polarizer for my Panasonic FZ28. The fit between the two elements is loose and moves on it’s own sometimes. It is also too thick because it causes vignetting in the corners at wide angles.

Naturally these aren’t professional quality filters, but for the price point they are a very good purchase. They are far better than dime store variety that you see offered in the package deals on various other sites. I’m using them on my Panasonic FZ28 and I’ve found them to be quite effective for their intended purposes. The glass is evenly ground and the colors uniform. They come in a nice case as well. I would label these as a “best buy.”
