Sharp, but not a real polarizer

It seems like Zeikos doesn’t exercise the best quality control, so it’s very possible that I got a bad filter.
That being said, my filter does not actually polarize. It leaves a slight color cast (red at 90 degrees and blue at 270 degrees)on the image, but the amount that it increases contrast is negligable at best. On the other hand, my filter is very sharp. And actually, at wider apertures, it makes my images sharper.
On the whole, this is decent filter. Just not in the capacity for which it was meant.
