Creative Labs Vado HD 720p Pocket Video Camcorder Questions
What 'MP' (megapixel?) or 'p' resolution should I be looking for in a Camcorder?
Hey Tech Savvy People!
I want to buy a HD camcorder to start posting stuff on youtube. I don’t need anything fancy but I would like the best picture possible…BUT for my purposes I don’t want to spend more than $100 or so. So it can be one of those little pocket cams. Do you tech savvy individuals have any advice on what I should look for?
For instance I see a
(DXG) HD Mini Camcorder : 4x digital zoom, 5.0MP, CMOS image sensor; up to 720p resolution
VS
(Creative Labs) - VADO HD Pocket Video Camcorder : 2x digital zoom, CMOS sensor with 720p video resolution (no mention of MP)
What 'MP' (megapixel?) or 'p' resolution should I be looking for?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!
Megapizels are for the still photos. You want video. If you can get 1080p, great. If not, and especially for under $100, 720p should be fine.
Between the 2, DXG is a cheap budget brand, buyer beware. You might luck out, but you will be taking a chance. Creative is an established brand. Go with the Vado HD
