Is there anything bad to be said about the DSC-S650 Sony Cyber-shot digital camera?
I am planning on buying that since it is in my kind of price range and many good feature, 7.2 megapixels, 3X Optical Zoom Lens, high sensitivity of ISO 1000, QVGA Movie Mode (my favorite), ect.

I used it on a recent trip to the Bahamas. Decent camera, but u need to know which mode to use when - the ISO mode is actually very useful alongwith the Beach mode - even when ur not on the beach - just to cut out the glare in very bright conditions and to enhance the blue of the sea and sky. However, it is under bright conditions only that I learnt the drawbacks of this camera....u really have to experiment a lot for those kinds, else ur pics would actually come out dark.
Also experimented using 'Force Flash' - always using flash under any conditions (except ISO). Useful to an extent. Shoots VERY well under dark conditions, including under Twilight mode and ISO mode. If u can find a camera for easier shooting under intense light conditions, take that. Otherwise, am satisfied.
Eats into normal AA batteries pretty fast. I lost my batteries (with careful use) in less than 2 days.
