Which is better 32MB or 4GB?
I'm buying a camcorder for a vacation.
One says "Vivitar HD Camcorder (DVR910B-TA) with 32MB Internal Storage - Blue"
The other says "Sony Handycam Flash Memory Camcorder (DCRSX44/R) with 4GB Internal Storage, 60x Optical Zoom - Red"
I just want to know which is a larger memory 4GB or 32MB?
Definitely the 4GB. To put it in perspective, 4GB is 4096MB which is 128 times more space than the 32MB would provide.
Oh & to the answerer above me, its not that the companies rip you off. Some of the storage space is used to store the operating system of the device in question, which if you didn't have would make it useless.
how do i make my youtube videos better quality with the Sony Handycam Flash Memory Camcorder (DCRSX44/L) cam?
http://youtube.com/retrospeck96
see what i mean? how do i make it better quality?
and if this helps; i have a mac and i use imovie

medium (640X360)

what should i do? is there something on my camera i can switch up? is there something on imovie?
10pts to best answer.
Thank you for providing some good information.
I have 3 suggestions...
1) Lighting. Turn up the lights. Bright lights are good. Consider reading up on "Three point lighting".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-point_lighting
2) What you did not tell us is what quality level for recording video the camcorder is set to...
Just in case, here is a link to your camcorder's manual:
See page 81. What is your camcorder set to? If it is not in "HQ" (or at least SP) mode try a short 1 minute test sequence and follow your process for both.
3) Use the white balance control on page 59. Indoor house lighting will cause lighting issues. I *think* that wall behind you is white? The camera needs to be told that. Try the "Indoor" preset. I prefer the One Touch and a piece of white paper using the same lighting as when you will be recording. The Halloween and Hair videos had much better lighting. What were the camera settings for them?
