I want to shoot sporting events (mostly baseball) and I want to make everything pop more. I have a Canon Rebel XS and am shooting with a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM lens.

Answer by Ralphie just remember to take the lens cap off! i found that i take the best pictures when i put the timer on 10 seconds and throw the camera high into the air!!!

Is there any alternative to the small DH-1 lens hood offered by nikon. A flower type hood? I can't seem to find an alternative besides a rubber popout.
