If you want interesting things to do:
some cameras offer multiple exposures. those can be fun.
try night photography. if you're shooting color strap on an 80A filter to prevent them from being too orange.
try perspective shots and abstractions.

if you want to do something interesting just wander around with a camera. my favorite camera to use when i'm bored is the paint can pinhole camera. I just stick a sheet of 8x10 x-ray film in it and have fun. i've also found the polaroid packfilm cameras to be fun. They're also cheap. I've been using the fuji instant film and it works very well.

Who knows. So much to do, so little time. I use a 35mm with Ektar as my main camera though. I'm not use to screwing around with ordinary 35mm
